The Fred Perry brand is renown for the laurel wreath logo embellishing its polo shirts. Based on the original Wimbledon symbol, it appears on the left chest of Fred Perry Twin Tipped and one color shirts.

The brand is named after British tennis player, Frederick John "Fred" Perry, who won eight Grand Slams, two Pro Slams single, and six Major doubles titles. Fred and Tibby Wegner, an Australian football player, invented the wrist sweatband and then their signature white knit cotton pique shirt with short sleeves and buttoned placket.

Launched at Wimbledon in 1952, its success continued with the mods, a British subculture, and became the preferred garment for youthful men in the '60s, '70s, and into the present.

The Ben Sherman brand became famous for being sported by several well-known musicians and singers. It was the first company to produce the famous Oxford button-down shirt and grew to become the fourth largest men's casual wear brand in the United Kingdom.

Ben Sherman was founded in 1963 by Arthur Bernard Sugarman, who was born in Brighton, England, and immigrated to the U.S. in 1946 via Canada. He married the daughter of a Californian clothes producer and later returned to Brighton where he bought a concourse shirt factory, the inauguration of the Ben Sherman brand.

Strangely, it took an attorney to create the world's perfect t-shirt. In 1992, Moise Emquies, a law school graduate waiting for his California bar results, was invited by a friend to design a t-shirt for her clothing store. His first rayon t-shirt design quickly sold out.

Ten years later, Emquies discovered the softest fabric and most color absorbing yarn combination: 50% supima luxurious cotton and 50% super-soft rayon that absorbs dyes deeply. So perfect, he called it Splendid.

A full t-shirt collection was launched in 1972 which has grown into an extensive collection of t-shirts, polo shirts and other apparel. Splendid's shirts have been featured in countless magazines, movies and television and is known for its clean, simple and effortless styling.
